Kelsey,
You have a great blog. Keep it up.

I wanted to tell you about a book that I had when I was a kid in Ethiopia, ...a story told and retold, that I thought would be cool to read to Tekle and Aaron.

It's "Kilu Mammo" or Silly Mammo, and guess what?! It's bilingual. Amharic/English.

Go to www.ethiopiareads.org and you'll find it under current projects. Also good to know the proceeds go to a library project in Ethiopia.

How's your Amharic coming along?

Thanks for the recommendation Selom! We found that book at the library a few weeks ago and LOVE it!!

My Amharic lessons are going really well. I have to work on my accent though :)
My tutor is very helpful...

Cute jeans Janaya!

Kelsey, do you still want to borrow that Oprah tape from me?

I had to laugh because I remember the days I used to write all over my jeans. I didn't realize kids still do that. It just goes to show some things never change!
